Today's training was a good session.  I trained down at Apollon Gym in Edison today.  My meet is roughly 15 weeks out and the goal was to bench 550.  Until today I wasn't too confident about that number.  After today's training session I feel I can exceed that number.  This was my first day in an old Metal Pro Bench Shirt, and it was a hug improvement over the Super Katana I have been using.  Gaining confidence in the bench press.  My issues aren't strength issues but rather technical issues.  So if I focus on technique between now and the meet I figure the bench will come together for the meet.

I am on a rotating 4 week bench cycle.  The cycle will not focus very much on raw bench movements.  The cycle is as follows:

week 1 - Heavy singles to a board shirter
week 2- Raw deload
week 3- Singles to touch
week 4- Special exercise

I will make Overhead Press my special exercise for the first week 4 in this cycle.
